As a Field Service Engineer 2, you play a key role in helping ASML achieve its mission to unlock the potential of technology for the benefit of society. Role and Responsibilities
As a Field Service Engineer 2, you deliver high-quality support to our customers. You solve challenges, foster teamwork, and create positive experiences for those who rely on our technology.

  • Diagnose and resolve equipment issues at customer sites using logical troubleshooting steps.
  • Install, maintain, and repair ASML systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Communicate clearly and respectfully with customers and colleagues, keeping everyone informed of progress.
  • Follow safety guidelines and contribute to a safe work environment for all.
  • Document actions and findings accurately to support continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share knowledge and drive customer success.
  • Participate in training and development to stay updated with the latest technologies and processes.

Education and Experience
  • You hold a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or a closely related field, OR at least two years experience.
  • You have at least two years of experience in field service, technical support, or equipment maintenance, preferably in the semiconductor industry.
  • You are familiar with using diagnostic tools, measurement systems, and computer-based reporting platforms.
  • You have experience working with complex technical systems in a fast-paced environment.

Other
  • Should expect 25% travel
  • 12-hour shifts, often at customer site. Working days shift (expecting Sun-Tues and every other Wed)

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
