High-quality master data is critical to enabling smooth business operations and scalable growth. The Master Data Senior Analyst ensures global material master data is created and maintained correctly, incidents are resolved quickly, and recurring defects are eliminated through structured root cause analysis and preventive improvements. The role delivers actionable data quality insights (KPIs, trends, exceptions), supports tool stability and UAT adoption, and strengthens governance through documentation, training, and coaching.
Our headquarters are in Veldhoven, the Netherlands, and we have 18 office locations around the United States including main offices inChandler Arizona, San Jose and San Diego California, Wilton Connecticut, and Hillsboro Oregon.
Role and responsibilities
- Provide first-line support for master data incidents and operational issues, guiding the data management community throughroot cause analysis and timely resolution.
- Own day-to-day master data operations by creating, maintaining, and safeguarding high-quality global material master data inthe ERP system, aligned with established guidelines and monitoring controls.
- Execute mass maintenance and data cleansing activities based on stakeholder needs and Master Data Governance priorities.
- Produce and share master data quality reporting (KPIs, trends, exceptions), and drive follow-up actions to closure to supportcontinuous improvement.
- Lead comprehensive root cause investigations for recurring master data defects and coordinate preventive/corrective improvement initiatives in response to service requests.

Education and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 3+ years of relevant, proven experience.
- Experience in (product) data quality management and understanding its impact on end-to-end business processes.
- Experience with performance management, including metrics, KPIs, and reporting.
- Hands-on experience with SAP or other ERP applications.
- Understanding of how data governance is embedded and operated within global enterprises.

The Data Analyst role is part of the Master Data Management department. The department manages global product related data, enabling ASML to achieve high data quality leading to operational excellence by supporting time to profitability. It manages data governance boards for ASML's manufacturing, supply chain management, finance and procurement departments.
The Master Data Management organization is an industry-leading organization, responsible for ensuring material availability to ASML's factories and customers. Our DNA contains customer focus, concurrent engineering, virtual integration plus the ability to thrive in a volatile market, accelerate the supply chain and deliver creative solutions. Plans are made up to four years ahead while customer requirements and system bill of materials can change at any time. Any break in material availability can have an unacceptable impact for our customers. The current base annual salary range for this role is currently:
$82,875-124,313
Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.

Employees will also receive eight (8) hours of vacation leave every month and (13) paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
