Role and Responsibilities

As a Control Tower Coordinator, you serve as a critical second-line resource, providing administrative support across all logistics activities. You proactively monitor, execute, and continuously improve stock request processes to resolve production material issues efficiently. Additionally, you ensure that IT architecture is seamlessly aligned with operational workflows, driving system and process enhancements to elevate performance and reliability.

As a Control Tower Coordinator you will have the following tasks and responsibilities:

Operational activities

  • Monitor and manage material-related requestsfrom Wilton manufacturing teams, ensuring timely resolution of issues identified on the production floor.
  • Ensure compliance with delivery creation rules, verifying that deliveries are generated accurately and on time.
  • Adjust delivery prioritiesbased on urgency and production needs to support uninterrupted material replenishment.
  • Lead investigations for lost parts, collaborating with internal stakeholders (Shift Planning, Cleanroom Logistics, MICC, Manufacturing) and third-party logistics providers (3PL) to resolve discrepancies.
  • Process delivery modifications, including cancellations, line changes, and priority updates, with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Resolve complex logistics issuesusing best practices and historical precedents, escalating when necessary.
  • Maintain and improve lost and found inventory balance, ensuring accurate bookings and traceability.

Continuous Improvement Activities
  • Identify and assess improvement opportunitiesacross the logistics value chain to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and responsiveness.
  • Participate in and lead continuous improvement initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement sustainable solutions.
  • Apply hands-on experiencegained in technical production and warehouse environments to support practical, impactful improvements.
  • Utilize structured problem-solving methodologies, such as LEAN principles, to troubleshoot issues and drive process optimization.

Education and Experience

A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field—such as Operations Management & Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain Management—is preferred.
Candidates with a high school diploma and substantial, directly related work experience will also be considered.

Professional Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of hands-on experience inLogisticsorSupply Chain Management, ideally within atechnical productionorwarehouse operationssetting. Proven track record ininventory managementis highly desirable, with demonstrated ability to optimize stock levels, streamline workflows, and support cross-functional teams in high-paced environments.

Technical Skills:
  • Hands-on experience in a technical production/warehouse environment.
  • Experience with trouble-shooting and structured problem-solving methodologies (e.g., LEAN)
  • Proficiency in SAP-ECC/EWM and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting

As part of this team, you will be positioned within theControl Tower—the central hub responsible for managing alllogistics administrative flows, with a focus onpreventing and predicting operational stagnationsto ensure smooth and efficient logistics.

This is anon-site, off-shift support rolewith a fixed schedule ofMonday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
