The Part time Staffing Coordinator serves as a strategic partner to the operation to support scheduling efforts and check in for events.
Long Description
COMPENSATION: The Hourly rate for this position is $22.00 to $24.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark?s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities
- Utilizes an event template and call list to assist full time Coordinator schedule staff to work prior to events as well as during.
- Maintains an active knowledge of the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) property specific and ensures that all schedules are compliant in component handbook and CA wage and hour compliance.
- Receives and processes personnel record notes in system regarding attendance and Paid Sick Leave.
- Maintains and updates all seniority lists, schedules, and call logs (in accordance with the component CBA).
- Present during employee check-in to answer questions from staff.
- Serve as the main point of contact for contingent workers.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of all uniforms, including new, assigned, and unassigned uniforms.
- Distribute and issue clean uniforms, including name tags.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and tidy uniform room.
- Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures.
- Report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe working conditions to a manager.
- Maintains phone logs of communication with employees when scheduling.
- Maintains proactive communication with all levels of staff and management.
- Utilizes time clock and inputs time for staff.
- Utilize Email and Time Keeping system to organize availability forms.
- Utilizes an event template to assist in scheduling.
- Partners with managers on compliance with company, state and federal wage & hour guidelines.
- Provides support for all large scale and mega event staffing levels.
- Provides basic administrative support with data entry, document printing, composing, printing and distributing signage and updating menu boards.
- Escalates issues as appropriate to management.
- Supports the component?s wage and hour plan through following up with staff and managers and assisting with meal period compliance.
- Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Organized, with strong attention to detail
- Ability to maintain calm demeanor in fast paced, sometimes challenging environments
- Ability to manage conflict in a professional, fair yet firm manner
- Strong ability to work well independently and make a solid contribution toward the goals of the team
- High school diploma required (Bachelor?s degree preferred)
- Proficient in computer software including MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Prior supervisory work experience in a high volume food and beverage or hospitality venue strongly desired
- Experience with time keeping and/or scheduling system a plus
