On this position you will report to Web Development Manager. As a Web Developer, you will support the development and maintenance of our enterprise web platforms, working across Drupal, PHP, and a custom PHP application. Collaborating closely with other developers and internal stakeholders, you will contribute to backend development, feature implementation, system integrations, and ongoing platform improvements across our global web ecosystem. This role offers hands-on exposure to enterprise CMS environments and the opportunity to grow technical depth within a collaborative team.

Your role:

  • Develop and maintain Drupal-based websites while ensuring performance, accessibility, and security standards
  • Support feature development and backend enhancements across Drupal and legacy custom PHP applications
  • Build and maintain integrations with external systems using REST APIs
  • Contribute to database development and data modeling, ensuring reliable content structures and integrations across web platforms
  • Resolve bugs, implement fixes, and contribute to performance improvements
  • Collaborate with designers, content teams, and stakeholders to deliver web solutions
  • Partnering with development teams from web agency to ensure timely and accurate updates, monitor deployments and providing constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices in web development;
  • Technical oversight by providing technical guidance in web development and support to Aptiv web team;
  • Support quality assurance and compliance efforts (cooperate with security teams to conduct regular audits and vulnerability assessments, and implement necessary security measures)
  • Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing to support internal team learning and growth

Your background:

  • 3+ years of professional web development experience, preferably in enterprise environments
  • Strong hands-on experience with PHP (Drupal and custom apps preferred)
  • Solid understanding of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks
  • Experience with relational databases (e.g. MySQL), including schema design and query development
  • Experience building and maintaining integrations with external systems using REST APIs
  • Familiarity with Git and modern development workflows; exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes is a plus
  • Comfortable contributing to system updates and ongoing platform improvements
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while continuously developing technical skills
  • Understanding of web best practices including responsive design, content structure, and metadata and web best practices
  • Proven ability to communicate complex technical topics to internal clients, enabling informed decisions and smooth collaboration
  • Excellent command of English
