Vehicle Prototype Technician (f/m/d)

Your job is to build the future of mobility. As a Prototype vehicle engineer, you will be responsible to bring the latest Ideas and Concepts of our Teams into the real world. For this, you will build, design, drive and maintain the Development Vehicles and Concepts. As one of only a few people in the world, you will be part of the future technology and you will turn visions and dreams into Real Vehicles.

Your Role

• Build Engineering Vehicles from small modifications to full rebuild from scratch
• Be responsible for your project timing execution and work distribution in the Team
• Support Engineering Teams globally with Test&Data Collection Drives
• Design and manufacture Vehicle and Device Harnesses
• Design and Build Brackets and Covers from scratch to finished part
• Test&Validation of multiple Prototype Vehicles of different groups
• Cooperation with Technical inspection services for single vehicle approvals
• Communication with Government for Road legality permission

• Bachelor/Masters in Vehicle Engineering or equivalent
• Highly skilled workmanship
• Experience in rebuilding vehicles for at least 3 years
• Advanced knowledge about vehicle homologation (StVZO, ECE regulations)
• Interested in new vehicle technologies
• very good German (speaking & writing) & good command in English
