Supplier Development Engineer

Skills and Abilities:
- Good knowledge of specific production techniques, manufacturing, quality and engineering processes;
- Profound experience in the application "core tools" of automotive-specific quality management methods (APQP, RGA, FMEA, MSA, PPAP, PPA, SPC, etc.);
- Good knowledge of standards, OEM customer requirements, component and tolerance requirements;
- Knowledge of internal processes and organizational structures;
- Analytical ability to assess and identify appropriate alternative courses of action for definition and resolution for quality problems;
- Certificates / auditor's certificates in the area of IATF 16949 as well as VDA 6.3 must be available;
- Experience in Six Sigma (Green Belt, Black Belt) is desirable;
- Interpersonal skills to lead motivate and facilitate others in group situations and instruct others in new techniques;

Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree or above in Engineering or adequate background;
- Professional experience in industrial engineering, manufacturing, quality or project management;
- Confident computer skills with good knowledge in MS-Office (Powerpoint, Excel, MS-Project);
- Quality tools knowledge and statistical skills;
- Sufficient English language proficiency (read and write reports and procedures, communicate with international departments);
- Self confident appearance in front of supplier management;
- Social competence, assertiveness, diplomacy and moderation skills, Verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility and travel readiness.
