Senior Web Developer

On this position you will report to Web Development Manager. As a Senior Web Developer, you will play a key role in strengthening our internal web engineering capabilities. You will work closely with Global Marketing, IT, and internal stakeholders to evolve our CMS ecosystem and drive continuous improvements across our enterprise web platforms. This role combines strong backend engineering expertise with platform leadership, enabling you to influence architecture, mentor internal developers, and help build a scalable and sustainable web development practice.
YOUR ROLE
- Lead the design, development, testing, and ongoing support of enterprise web platforms
- Architect and develop enhancements within our evolving Sitefinity platform, while maintaining strong performance, accessibility, and security standards
- Work with database structures supporting web applications and integrations, including schema improvements and performance tuning
- Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to enhance CI/CD pipelines, hosting environments, CDN configuration, SSL implementation, and backup strategies
- Independently manage small to medium-scale technical initiatives, defining scope, requirements, and delivery milestones
- Foster productive relationships with external agency partners, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of shared projects
- Provide technical mentorship and conduct structured code reviews to elevate internal development standards
- Maintain up-to-date expertise in web technologies, infrastructure best practices, security standards, and compliance requirements
YOUR BACKGROUND
- 6+ years of enterprise-level web development experience
- Experience with ASP.NET / .NET, environments and backend development on CMS platforms (Sitefinity experience preferred)
- Programming languages: C# (required); PHP is a plus
- Experience with frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and modern JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React)
- Experience with database modeling and development, including working with XML/XSLT and structured content integrations
- Experience building and maintaining integrations with external systems using REST APIs and related technologies
- Skilled in Git, CI/CD tooling, and DevOps processes (Azure environment preferred)
- Strong sense of ownership, with ability to work independently on complex technical problems while aligning with broader platform strategy
- Excellent command of English
- Proven ability to communicate complex technical topics to internal clients, enabling informed decisions and smooth collaboration
- Strong knowledge of web best practices including information architecture, responsive design, content modeling, metadata, and tagging
