Robotics Process Automation Lead
YOUR ROLE
RPA Lead manages GBS automation roadmap, projects, and governance. Leads specialists, oversees digitalization plans, supports delivery framework development, mentors team, designs technical documents, and ensures quality implementation. Collaborates with stakeholders to optimize processes and identify cross-process synergies. Robotic Process Automation Lead will be looking at the overall automation spectrum, of which RPA for example is one of a variety of solutions.
The RPA Lead mission is to drive GBS automation & digitalization agenda in order to effectively support the strategy & transformation plan. This includes:
• Reviewing the overall Excellence Automation spectrum
• Oversee development of Automation / Robotic Process Automation (RPA) framework and methodologies
• Defining solution standards, documentation, policies, approval flows controls and technology
• Focus on Automation agenda within GBS scope
• Set up of automation factory, including selection of appropriate technology supporting solution development
• Identification, evaluation and final qualification / recommendation of the solution initiatives
• Development of Automation/Digitalisation roadmap
• Obtain minimum 30% of productivity savings through Automation (for GBS scope)
• Operational management of virtual workforce / monitoring of its effectiveness and efficiency
• Constant market benchmark and application of solutions advanced capabilities, tools and technology
• Cooperation with Group IT, especially in the area of technology selection, tools and infrastructure
• Works closely with developers, testers, process architects and technical architects to ensure delivery within schedule and with quality
• Familiar with solution designs to ensure consistency and continuity across multiple delivery teams
• Final review on the technical design documents to ensure proper handover of the technical design to developers to code the automations as per design. Provides direction and leadership for the team members
• Reviews recognized system deficiencies and approves the implementation of effective solutions
• Ensures reusable components are designed & developed where applicable
• Conducts performance evaluations and mentors team members
• Continuously seeks and evaluates new services and technologies
YOUR BACKGROUND
• Minimum 2 years of experience in leading Business process automation/Software Teams, ideally in a Global Business Services context
• Experience in designing, planning and implementing automation and digital solutions
• Agile development processes
• Knowledge of development cycle for applications
• Demonstrated ability to lead with vision, develop long-term strategies, and inspire teams to achieve organizational goals
• Strong analytical and complex reasoning skills, with the ability to navigate challenges, resolve issues, and make sound decisions in ambiguous situations
• Capability to lead productive discussions, build consensus
