Release Manager

Duties:

  • Release management of Configuration Management for tools, applications and platforms essential for Requirements Management, Software Engineering and Continuous Integration for global projects.
  • Leading role in configuration, synchronization and management of projects repositories.
  • Assure to follow quality standards in SW development process.
  • Support project leads to coordinate SW development process.
  • Active role in planning and tracking of activities in particular phases of SW project.
  • Owning the process of development and integration of SW baselines.
  • Preparation of production SW - SW releases.
  • Creation and reporting of SW statistics and metrics.
  • Keep cooperation and good relationships with local and remote AS&UX teams.
  • SW integration process automation.
  • Systematic and exact approach to work.
  • Continuous development of professional qualifications.
  • Honesty and integrity in relation with company, clients and co-operators.
  • Care for good company image.
  • Care for confidential information and company's property.
  • On-time execution of assigned tasks in compliance with the quality system valid for Aptiv corporation and Technical Center in Kraków.

Requirements:

  • MSc degree (preferred in Electronics, IT, Computer Science or related)
  • Knowledge of SW development methodologies
  • Prior experience in SW integration
  • Very good knowledge of SW configuration tools (SourceSafe, Synergy, CVS etc.)
  • Knowledge of the process of SW engineering
  • Experience in SW development process compliant to quality standards SPICE/ISO15504 or CMM/CMMI and CMII
  • Very good work organization
  • Interpersonal effectiveness
  • Very good command of English
