Quality Manager - Egypt

This is a role for 10th of Ramadan City -EGYPT, temporarily posted in Morocco

We are looking for a highly skilled Quality Manager to lead our plant's Quality function and act as the primary representative of customer expectations and satisfaction in Egypt. As the owner of the Customer Satisfaction swim lanes (Flows 1, 4, 5) and Monitoring & Continual Improvement (MCI), you will ensure that our quality systems, processes, and products meet Aptiv standards and deliver exceptional value to our customers.

This role is critical for ensuring product compliance, driving continuous improvement, and promoting a culture of quality across the plant.

Your Role:

• Lead and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS), act as Management Representative, and report system performance and improvement needs to plant leadership.
• Represent the customer internally, ensuring deployment of quality objectives, training, corrective/preventive/error-proofing actions, and alignment with all customer portals and requirements.
• Ensure product and process compliance, with full authority to stop production or shipments, manage containment, and prevent delivery of non-conforming product.
• Drive new project feasibility and industrialization, validate PPAPs, coordinate cross-functional project execution, and oversee process controls, SPC, and application of established operating methods.
• Oversee auditing and continuous improvement, defining audit criteria, guiding the auditor team, and addressing customer complaints through structured root-cause analysis.
• Manage supplier and subcontractor quality, ensuring issues are corrected promptly and that any non-conforming product is identified, contained, and escalated.
• Ensure correct application of global quality systems and digital tools, aligning procedures with central Quality requirements, validating IT solutions, and ensuring compliance with quality, safety, environmental, and hygiene standards.

Your Profile:

• Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Quality within automotive or similar manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, PPAP, APQP, FMEA, and SPC.
• Proven leadership and decision-making ability, including authority to stop production.
• Excellent communication and customer interface skills.
• Experience handling audits, customer complaints, and continuous improvement programs.
