Quality Engineer

Coordinate activities related to the Quality area: Molding and Quality Engineering, with the goal of providing the required support to the customer regarding quality issues. Lead the problem-solving process and the implementation of new projects within the area.

My Role:

• Coordinate communication and customer protection activities.
• Monitor and perform Layered Process Audits.
• Ensure implementation of corrective actions resulting from Layered Process Audits.
• Coordinate the development, training, and control of instructions and/or work routines related to the area.
• Supervise the update of the "Customer On-Site Review Process" (Conduct monthly reviews / Identify, monitor, and ensure the review of Customer and Supplier Manuals).
• Coordinate and participate in Operational and Improvement Plans.
• Monitor area performance / Document Control Plans.
• Coordinate the control of Quality records within the area.
• Coordinate problem-solving activities resulting from customer complaints.
• Attend customer follow-up meetings for prompt complaint responses.
• Ensure proper handling of Non-Conforming Material Control.

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
• +4 years of experience in the quality area
• Minimun 4 years of experience in the automotive industry
• Customer service focused
• Advanced English
• Proficient in MS Office
• Familiarity with the manufacturing process and basic service areas
• Knowledge of the EOS system (quality standards), ISO 14001, ISO 45000
• Knowledge of Core Tools (AMEF, PCP, SPC, APQP, PPAP)
• Knowledge of IATF 16949 and GDT
• Experience in molding/final assembly area (preferred)
