Product Engineer

Your Role
In your daily job you will:
- Design plastic and components (2D and 3D) for connectors in vehicle
- Make validation plan and follow up validation progress
- Present APTIV design proposals to customer and get customer approval
- Follow customer vehicle build events and solve related issues
- Setup/Maintain/Update design database Lead cross function team to implement Engineering changes
- Assure adherence to all work procedures Strive for lean organization and continuous improvement
Your Background
Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related
- More than 3 years of design work experience in relative area
- Deep knowledge of injection molding and metal stamping
- Proficient in English (oral and written)
- Well trained CAD capability or CATIA/UG/Pro E
- Good communication skills
Nice to haves (preferred qualifications)
- Good OEM customer relationship
- Basic knowledge in IATF16949
