YOUR ROLE

In your daily job, you will:

• Lead, support, and develop production teams by fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement
• Oversee compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations, ensuring that legal requirements and company policies are always met
• Ensure efficient and cost-effective production processes while meeting quality, quantity, and timeline requirements for internal and external customers
• Monitor and manage production KPIs, resource planning, and departmental budgets, ensuring alignment with overall operational goals
• Drive process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, CIP (Continuous Improvement Process), and PDCA methodologies to increase productivity and reduce waste
• Detailed planning and execution of new launch activities within Operations, including training personnel on new processes and overseeing process ramp-up phases.
• Actively contributes to the site's leadership team by collaborating across functions (e.g. Quality, Engineering, HR, Supply Chain) to shape and implement strategies that drive operational performance, innovation, and site growth.
• Make and approve operational decisions (e.g., vacation planning, overtime, temporary support) in coordination with HR and in line with internal policies.
• Safeguard sensitive data and ensure responsible handling of company assets, facilities, and equipment, maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment

YOUR BACKGROUND

Key skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• +5 years of experience as an Operations Manager or similar position
• Experience in plastic molding and automatic assembly areas
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing and automotive
• Strong mindset of a quality to satisfy customer requirements
• Familiarity with new product launch requirements; considered a strong asset
• Fluent in English
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Strong leadership, communication, and time management skills
• High sense of responsibility, flexibility, and problem-solving mindset
• Team-oriented, structured, and goal-driven approach
• Solid understanding of key performance indicators and financial KPIs, P&L.
