HV Connector Engineer
Major Accountabilities:
Identify and select appropriate components for use in hardware and product engineering projects based on technical requirements, performance specifications, and cost considerations.
Develop and implement strategies for identifying alternative components and managing end-of-life (EOL) situations.
Utilize knowledge of composite materials to select and integrate suitable materials into hardware and product designs, considering factors such as strength, weight, and durability.
Establish and maintain relationships with component suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality components that meet project requirements.
Lead the PPAP process for new components, ensuring that all necessary documentation and testing requirements are met before production release.
Conduct component data analysis to gather, organize, and analyze information related to component specifications, performance data, and reliability metrics.
Develop and release detailed part specifications, including technical drawings, material specifications, and performance requirements, ensuring alignment with project objectives and industry standards.
Plan, coordinate, and oversee component testing activities to validate performance, reliability, and compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
Manage the bill of materials (BOM) for hardware and product engineering projects, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency throughout the product lifecycle.

Apply electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) design principles and standards to ensure that components and hardware designs meet electromagnetic compatibility requirements and minimize electromagnetic interference (EMI).
Ensure compliance with ZVEI DeQuMa (German Component Obsolescence Management Guideline) and AEC (Automotive Electronics Council) standards in component selection, testing, and management processes.
