HR Data Analyst

Aptiv, Lisbon are looking for a detail-oriented BI professional to design, build, and optimize data solutions that enable smarter, faster decision-making across the business. In this role, you will develop scalable dashboards, automate reporting, and transform complex data into clear, actionable insights using Qlik Sense and related tools. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure stakeholders have access to accurate, timely, and self-service reporting that supports business growth.

Your role

• Implementing and managing BI Solutions using tools such as Qlik Sense, NPrinting & Power Query
• Focus on automating reports through Qlik Sense with aim to provide self service reporting platform for key stakeholders
• Delivery of technical build in Qlik Sense and management of project documentation
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into scalable BI solutions and dashboards.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain Qlik data models to ensure high performance, accuracy, and minimal processing time.
• Build intuitive, user-friendly visualizations that effectively communicate trends, insights, and KPIs.
• Maintain and enhance the Qlik Sense environment, including scheduled reloads, task monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Conduct root-cause analysis for data quality issues and collaborate with data owners to implement long-term fixes.
• Ensure governance and documentation standards are met across all Qlik applications, including version control and change management.
• Support user adoption by providing training, walkthroughs, and best-practice guidance for self-service analytics.

• Experience developing BI solutions with Qlik Sense, NPrinting, and Power Query.
• Strong Qlik scripting skills for loading, cleaning, enriching, and modeling data from multiple sources.
• Ability to build efficient data models, resolve synthetic keys, and work with joins, concatenation, and grouping.
• Proficiency with script functions (aggregation, logical, mapping, ranking) and creating QVD files.
• Solid Set Analysis knowledge, including advanced expressions and point-in-time logic.
• Hands-on experience with automated NPrinting report setups.
• High attention to detail and strong data quality troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to propose alternative technical solutions when needed.
• Understanding of row-level security and dashboard performance optimization.
• Strong collaboration skills for gathering and validating requirements.
• HRIS (e.g., Workday) and workforce reporting knowledge is a plus.
