Your Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement category strategies for PCB and Discrete components to achieve business targets.
  • Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier performance to ensure quality, cost, and delivery objectives are met.
  • Analyze market trends and data to inform sourcing decisions and mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align category plans with product development and operational needs.
  • Lead cost reduction initiatives, value engineering projects, and continuous improvement efforts within the category.
  • Monitor and report on category performance metrics, providing regular updates to senior leadership.
  • Design and lead a responsive, agile and efficient team that has the ability to:
  • Meet the changing and diverse needs of customers,
  • Enhance capability of supplier management to impact wider business objectives,
  • Deliver high-quality products with short lead times at low cost,
  • Demonstrate the knowledge and experience in Lean approach
  • Effectively build strategic supplier partnerships

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in category management, procurement, or supply chain, with a focus on PCB and Discrete components.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex supplier relationships.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Travel

This is a global role, requiring occasional international travel to meet suppliers and internal team meetings.
