Engineering system key user

Position Summary:

Engineering systems key user is responsible for ensuring efficient and standardized usage of all engineering software tools and systems, through managing user access, supporting the implementation of new functionalities, providing user training and coordinating between the IT department and the engineering department.

Your Role:

• Ensuring efficient operation and usage of engineering systems (PLM, PDM, SAP, ECN, BOM, CAD, EPLAN)
• Testing new system versions, upgrading and changing configurations before implementation
• Ensuring accuracy and consistency of technical data (product structures, drawing versions, bill of materials, revisions)
• Participating in the change control process (ECN/ECR), validating new versions and synchronizing data between systems (PLM-SAP)
• Implementing new digital tools and process automation
• Testing and validating VBA/Excel macros, interfaces and integrations between systems
• Defining specifications for system upgrades and development
• Creating and maintaining user manuals, guides and internal procedures
• Organizing and conducting training for system users
• Resolving technical issues in collaboration with the IT department (incidents, user requests, installations and updates)

Your Background:

• University degree in a technical field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the same or similar role
• Experience working with engineering systems (PLM, SAP, CAD, EPLAN, Excel VBA, PDM)
• Knowledge of technical documentation and change management processes (ECN/ECR)
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and automation (macros, VBA)

• Developed communication and training/knowledge transfer skills
• Conversational level of English language proficiency
