As the Senior Manager, EMEA Logistics & Trade Operations you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives to optimize our logistics, warehousing and trade operations, ensuring seamless coordination and efficient movement of goods across our global supply chain. You will lead a dedicated team of professionals and collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to drive operational excellence, minimize costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.

This role reports to the Director, Global Logistics and Trade Operations, and is a member of the Logistics leadership team, interfacing with senior executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate E2E logistics strategy and optimize logistics and warehousing operations, aligning with the company's overall objectives and growth strategies.
  • Proven track record of effective cost containment while increasing global sales, productivity, and cost controls in a dynamic market environment.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to optimize logistics, warehousing and trade operations, aligning with the company's overall objectives and growth strategies.
  • Manage the EMEA Logistic spend across all Business Units, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost-effective solutions.
  • Oversee the global movement of goods, including inbound and outbound transportation, distribution, warehousing and trade operations activities, to meet customer demands and delivery timelines.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor and evaluate the performance of logistics, warehousing and trade operations, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the logistics, warehouse and trade operations functions, leveraging data analytics and best practices to identify areas for optimization and innovation. Implement initiatives to enhance productivity, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers, third-party logistics providers (3PLs), and other external partners. Support contract negotiations, implement suppliers/service providers and projects, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement in service levels and cost-effectiveness.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Master degree in Logistics, Business Management, International Relations, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering or other relevant area.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in business, supply chain management or similar is a plus .
  • High energy, results-oriented leader with 10+ years of experience leading logistics services within world-class manufacturing, logistics or technology environments.
  • Extensive knowledge of Supply Chain Processes (with preference for Operations, Manufacturing and Logistics related ones).
  • Proven knowledge and practice of all transportation modes, customs brokerage operations and 3PL/4PL operations.
  • Track record in implementing best practice and building highly optimized trade and logistics operations.
  • S/he must demonstrate commitment to excellence, have direct and cross-functional leadership ability, and apply sharp focus on responsibility and accountability.
