Job Description
SHAPE THE FUTURE OF MOBILITY FROM DAY ONE.
This position is part of our Signal & Power Solutions (S&PS) segment, Electrical Distribution Systems (EDS) business unit.
Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Systems MCAD Designer.
This position is responsible for designing wiring harnesses for our local OEM programs utilizing 3D Catia software.

Your Role

• Design wiring harnesses in 2D Catia per Ford rules
• Exercise quality checks utilizing DIAS, E2KS, RQA & IPS
• Complete DPA's (design studies) per Ford cadence
• Attend packaging block meetings with customer
• Document issues in Aptiv system and attend team meetings to review progress
• Support DRE's by preparing files for Ford validation Total Design Reviews
• Design harnesses in a robust and cost effective manner

Your Background

• High level of English proficiency is a must (90% or higher).
• Catia CAD software knowledge/experience
• Teamcenter or equivalent PLM software experience
• 3 + years of industry experience
• Associates Degree in Engineering
