Automation Technician

Automation Technician is responsible for working as part of the team to maintain and operate automated equipment and systems in a safe and consistent manner for reaching the maximum performances.

• Relationship with process technicians to validate tools, equipment and report each anomaly detected at the equipment level.
• Relationship with the quality auditors or engineers for the validation of the equipment with the supervisors for proposals to reduce downtime.
• Relationship with the spare parts store Responsible to define Maintenance intervention needs.
• Relationship with production supervisors.
• Relationship with engineering
• Perform corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance on machines, equipment, and tools.
• Test software engineering solutions.
• Work closely with other technicians, engineers and manufacturing to resolve issues in order to achieve effectiveness of production.
• Assist in the training of new employees on proper machine handling.
• Ensure machines are properly calibrated.
• Monitor equipment performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal output.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
