Assoc Financial Planning Analyst

Your Role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Assoc Financial Planning Analyst to join our Intelligent Systems team. This role will be exercising control over the company's finances in accordance with applicable regulations in order to maintain its liquidity and financial stability.

In your daily tasks you will:

• Lead and validate the monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger closing processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting and settlement of accounts.
• Review and adjust balance sheet accounts for accruals, preparing and verifying necessary journal entries and postings.
• Ensure timely statutory reporting for tax authorities, auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Support forecasting, reporting, budgeting processes.
• Material costing, material run rates, standard cost, price to price performance analysis.
• Review, approve and track local expenses, providing accounting support for the Accounts Payable department and maintaining an expense tracker.

Your background

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Analytics, Finance or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of finance and accounting principles.
• Intermediate English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey work-related information clearly and effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
• Self-motivated with attention to detail and a strategic approach to problem-solving
