Your Role

• Analyzing customer requirements, Converting Customer Requirements into Design and Code
• Responsible for developing code in Java, C & C++ language
• Analysis and resolution of customer and internal reported issues
• Support Software integration activity
• Responsible for Software module testing (functional, Unit / integration testing)
• Should understand and involve in various KPIs including certification activities/process.
• Monitor Android Automotive trends, roadmaps

Your Background

Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:

• A graduate in BE/B.Tech/ ME/ M.Tech (Electricals/ Electronics/ Instrumentation, Robotics) with work experience of 2-5 years
• #EXP[2-5]
• 2-5 years of Android development experience across Applications, Services, HAL, and BSP, with 2+ years in Automotive Android Infotainment (Android 9+).
• Strong expertise in Android Framework APIs, CAR Framework, AOSP build system, and OOP concepts.
• Proficient in Java, C, C++, with Kotlin as an advantage; hands-on in Android Studio development and debugging.
• Experience in HIDL, HAL services implementation, Android security policies, and product/device/board configuration.
• Solid understanding of Android boot/startup sequences, performance optimization, and framework/service layer debugging.
• Hands-on with Tradefed, CTS, VTS, Android Test Frameworks, JUnit, Mockito, and Google Test Framework.
• Experience with Bluetooth (HFP, PBAP, A2DP, MAP, SPP, BLE) and Wi-Fi (Station, AP, P2P using wpa_supplicant, Hostapd, ConnMan), including sniffer tools and network utilities (DHCP, firewall, routing).
• Familiar with tools: Git, Gerrit, JIRA, Polarion, Confluence, VSCode, Enterprise Architect, VMware, Coverity; strong problem-solving, Agile mindset, and communication skills.
