Requirements
- Fluent English language verbal & written, German is a plus
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficient in technical publishing software:
- DITA XML: Oxygen Editor
- Content Management System (CMS): SDL Tridion Docs
- Graphical: Illustrator, Inkscape, Notepad++, and MS Paint
- Adobe Suite: Acrobat Pro DC.
- MS Office Suite: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
- Good experience in customize the appearance of any of the output types by customizing the output DITA transformations.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional organization and multitask on multiple projects.
- Must be a quick learner, self-starter, with strong attention to details and can work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.
- Requires working closely with both European based teams and also Asia based.
- May require 20% international travel.

Role and Responsibility
- Convert MS Word content into DITA XML.
- Develop DITA XML topic using markup element tags, attributes, maps, and conditions.
- Independently working on technical writing projects: ensure the projects are completed on time, objectives are defined, necessary planning activities (e.g., plan authoring, review, estimation of deliverables, milestones, validating and testing, reliability, and risk mitigation of documents).
- Ensure project results meet requirements and ensure technical accuracy, quality, reliability, schedule.
- Develop DITA XML topic using markup element tags, attributes, maps, and conditions.
- Works with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), engineers, mechanical and electrical designers to identify the most effective product and service illustration solutions that are highly accurate and complete.
Education and Experience
- University Degree
- Minimum 3-4 years of Experience in DITA XML technical writing or content editor or similar role.

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
