Summary

We are looking for an experienced software engineer Tech Lead with strong technical leadership skills to design and develop systems built with Python. In this role, you will work on complex projects, collaborate across teams, and apply your expertise to deliver high-performance applications for semiconductor equipment solutions. This position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, guide best practices, and contribute to technology decisions while working on mission-critical systems.

Role Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership and own architectural decisions for distributed systems.
  • Design and develop Python-based services for high-performance applications.
  • Work on architecture and implementation of Kubernetes-based distributed systems.
  • Share expertise and mentor developers, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
  • Troubleshoot challenging software issues and design robust fixes.
  • Create comprehensive software documentation and test procedures

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field or equivalent industry experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in backend development with Python.
  • Proven experience in designing and deploying distributed systems on Kubernetes.
  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture and container orchestration.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make sound technical decisions.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage and collaborate effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and contribute to technical discussions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices to streamline deployments.
  • Knowledge of observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana) for monitoring distributed systems.
  • Demonstrated success in applying technical leadership skills.
  • Experience with full-stack development, including React and TypeScript.
