We're excited to be recruiting for an experienced Talent Acquisition Advisor to join our Europe team at Applied Materials. This is a permanent, full-time position based in our Dresden office in Germany. The role requires onsite presence in the Dresden office five days per week, with some flexibility.
In this role, you'll partner with the business to hire top talent for our Europe business units, with a primary focus on Germany. You'll collaborate with a dynamic team to continuously improve our hiring approach, enhance the candidate experience, and work closely with hiring managers. Key Responsibilities:
- You will support full life cycle recruitment and be responsible for ensuring a seamless hiring manager and candidate experience
- Partner with multiple hiring managers and key stakeholders to understand unique market needs and challenges, while continually reviewing and optimizing the effectiveness of recruitment strategies
- Strategic Talent Mapping, deploy advanced sourcing techniques to identify and attract top talent. Develop comprehensive talent strategies that align with complex business growth objectives
- Own and lead cross-functional planning and delivery of university events to support early talent hiring
- Preparation of contract offers in cooperation with hiring manager and local HR
- Communication of offers to candidates, negotiation of offers if applicable
- Close cooperation with internal interfaces (hiring managers, HRBP) as well as with external interfaces (external staffing agencies, institutions, universities)
Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor, Master's or comparable degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, with related/relevant work experience
- Demonstrated ability to work as a high-performing recruiter, working in a corporate setting in a high-growth and/or fast-paced environment
- Prior recruiting experience in the technology, engineering or IT industry is desirable
- Proven experience coordinating university events or early talent initiatives across multiple stakeholders
- Fluency in English is essential; German language is highly desirable
- Strong working knowledge of employment and labor laws in Germany is required
- Experienced user of MS office, Workday Recruiting or other ATS is advantageous
- Proven experience partnering and building positive relationships with candidates, managers, team members, and other stakeholders
- Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
- Highly organized, with a focus on delivering business results
