Key Responsibilities
- Develop business partnership with BU leaders and develop Asia region's financial strategy and investment goals. You will act as a controller and financial advisor overseeing the investment portfolio ensuring optimal resource allocation and controls.
- Lead AOP, quarterly forecast, and long-range planning cycles for lab operations and program portfolios (Opex, Capex, headcount)
- Perform variance analysis, identify key drivers, and recommend corrective actions
- Develop concise performance narratives linking operational activity to financial results
- Manage a team of analysts
- Partner with Product development, operations, sales and BU Finance to rationalize investment decisions on growth programs aimed at enhancing P&L and competitively positioning AMAT.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis and develop frameworks to analyze and make recommendations on key programs.
- Track program milestones and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor progress against budget and schedule.
- Partner with operations to monitor ecosystem and competitive trends in Asia region.

- Strong written/oral communication, organizational, and project administration skills
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and presentation of data
- Familiarity with MS Copilot usage and prompting
- Strong understanding of accounting/financial principles and statutory regulations/legal requirements
- Require some travel to lab sites within Asia Pacific as well as travel to HQ in Santa Clara

Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in FP&A and strategic finance roles
- MBA plus Engineering is preferable.
- Proficiency in Excel and advanced financial modeling
- In-depth Knowledge of accounting guidelines and tax codes
- Experience with SAP ERP system is a plus
