The Senior Director of Finance will serve as the embedded strategic finance leader within SPG (Semiconductor Products Group) Finance, acting as a trusted advisor to the business leaders. This role is responsible for financial modeling, valuation, and structuring of business development initiatives, partnerships, and M&A transactions. The role also plays a critical part in portfolio prioritization, capital allocation, and strategic decision-making, ensuring investments are evaluated through both financial and strategic lenses. This role reports to VP SPG Finance.
Semiconductor Products Group (SPG) develops industry‑leading equipment and technologies used to manufacture advanced semiconductor chips, enabling breakthroughs in AI, high‑performance computing, memory, and IoT.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & M&A Leadership
- Serve as the primary finance partner to business leadership for business development, partnerships, M&A and other strategic activities.
- Lead financial modeling, valuation, and scenario analysis for BU-sponsored transactions.
- Partner with Corporate Development, Strategy, and other functional leaders to structure transactions aligned with BU strategy.
- Support financial due diligence and integration planning with a focus on value realization and execution risk.
Strategic & Financial Decision Support
- Provide ongoing strategic finance support to BU leadership on growth and investment decisions
- Evaluate strategic initiatives using both financial metrics (NPV, ROI, cash flow) and strategic criteria.
- Provide ad-hoc finance support for various SPG wide initiatives
- Develop executive-level analyses and recommendations for GM and senior leadership discussions.
Executive & External Engagement
- Act as a trusted finance advisor to BU General Manager and senior executives.
- Present complex financial and strategic analyses with clarity and executive presence.
- Engage directly with external partners, acquisition targets, and advisors.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field; MBA strongly preferred.
- 12+ years of progressive finance experience including strategic finance, M&A, or corporate development.
- Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills; expertise in scenario planning, investment analysis, and portfolio management.
- Proven ability to influence senior executives in a matrixed environment.
- Strong understanding of portfolio management and capital allocation frameworks.

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
