Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Network & DevOps Engineer to architect, automate, and optimize secure, scalable, and resilient cloud networking solutions across AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform environments.
This role combines expertise in cloud networking, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), DevOps, automation, DNS/DHCP/IPAM (DDI), cloud security, and hybrid connectivity. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership for cloud transformation initiatives, establish architectural standards, and develop automation solutions that improve security, reliability, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Network Architecture & Engineering
- Design and implement enterprise cloud networking solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Architect VPC/VNet topologies, routing, peering, transit networks, and hybrid connectivity.
- Design and support Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, Interconnect, and VPN solutions.
- Develop cloud networking standards, reference architectures, and best practices.
- Support Zero Trust, SASE/SSE, and secure application connectivity initiatives.
- Evaluate emerging cloud networking technologies and recommend improvements.
Cloud Infrastructure & Platform Knowledge
- Strong understanding of cloud compute, storage, containers, Kubernetes, and serverless technologies.
- Knowledge of object, block, and file storage architectures and their use cases.
- Understanding of high availability, disaster recovery, resiliency, and scalability concepts.
- Familiarity with cloud landing zones, shared services, and enterprise cloud platforms.
- Collaborate effectively with Cloud Infrastructure and Platform Engineering teams.
- Understand cloud cost optimization and operational best practices.
Automation & Infrastructure as Code
- Develop and maintain Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep, and Ansible solutions.
- Automate cloud networking and infrastructure deployments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Build API-driven automation and self-service provisioning capabilities.
- Establish reusable deployment patterns and automation frameworks.
- Implement policy-based and event-driven automation solutions.

DevOps & Platform Integration
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployments.
- Implement GitOps and Infrastructure-as-Code best practices.
- Integrate networking and security services into cloud-native deployment workflows.
- Support Kubernetes networking and container platform integration.
- Partner with Platform Engineering teams to accelerate application delivery.
DNS, DHCP & IPAM (DDI)
- Architect and support enterprise DNS, DHCP, and IPAM services.
- Design scalable cloud and hybrid DNS architectures.
- Integrate DDI platforms with automation and cloud services.
- Lead technical solutions for Infoblox, Route 53, Azure DNS, and Google Cloud DNS.
- Automate DNS and IP lifecycle management processes.
Cloud Security & Compliance
- Design secure cloud networking architectures aligned with Zero Trust principles.
- Implement segmentation, private connectivity, and secure ingress/egress controls.
- Support cloud security, logging, monitoring, and compliance requirements.
- Partner with Cybersecurity teams on governance and risk mitigation initiatives.
Technical Leadership
- Serve as a subject matter expert for cloud networking, automation, and DevOps.
- Lead architecture reviews and technical design discussions.
- Develop technology roadmaps and standards.
- Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance.
- Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in Network Engineering, Cloud Networking, Infrastructure Engineering, or DevOps.
- 5+ years of experience designing enterprise cloud solutions in AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
- Strong expertise in cloud networking and hybrid connectivity architectures.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation technologies.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, Routing & Switching, BGP, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, VPN, Load Balancing, and Network Security.
- Experience with Python, PowerShell, Bash, REST APIs, and Git.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud environments.
- Experience with Infoblox, Route 53, Azure DNS, and Google Cloud DNS.
- Experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native networking.
- Experience with Zero Trust, SASE/SSE, SD-WAN, and cloud security architectures.
- Experience supporting enterprise cloud transformation initiatives.
- Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical projects.
