Position Summary:
The Order Management Specialist will support the SPG organization and act as a key liaison across Sales, Logistics, Finance, and Manufacturing teams. This role is responsible for managing order fulfillment for TSMC, ensuring accurate order processing, scheduling, system maintenance, and cross-functional alignment. This position requires strong communication skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to navigate complex internal workflows in a fast‑paced semiconductor equipment environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage order fulfillment, including order entry, validation, scheduling, lifecycle tracking, and change management.
- Create and maintain accurate quotations/opportunities and sales orders in ERP (SAP) under limited supervision, ensuring high data integrity.
- Coordinate closely with Sales, Logistics, Finance, and Manufacturing teams to ensure smooth order execution and timely resolution of issues.
- Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels; escalate unmet customer requirements and follow through until closure.
- Generate routine and ad-hoc reports to track order status, opportunities, bookings, and shipments; perform data analysis to support business decisions.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate information across SAP, CRM, and Excel-based tracking databases.
- Support sales administrative tasks such as preparing quotations, maintaining documentation, and coordinating internal workflows.
- Develop a clear understanding of customer requirements to ensure efficient order management and communication alignment across teams.
- Build foundational knowledge of Applied Materials products and SPG business processes to support accurate order execution.
- Identify workflow gaps and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data accuracy, communication efficiency, and system utilization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in order management, sales operations, or logistics coordination, preferably in a high‑tech or manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with sales order lifecycle, inventory flow, or supply chain concepts.
- Strong proficiency in Excel; experience with SAP / ERP systems and CRM is required.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills with the ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments.
- Experience with process improvement, workflow optimization, or data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
- Strong English reading and writing capability.
