- Review BOMs and manage part lists and part families, ensuring high‑volume consumables are sourced and dual‑sourced as needed.
- Select and qualify suppliers for NPI materials, ensuring capability, capacity, quality, and lead-time alignment.
- Review engineering drawings to determine material requirements, manufacturing processes (machining, cleaning, coating), and supplier capability needs.
- Ensure contracts, pricing, and lead‑time agreements are established to support program timelines.
- Drive supply chain ramp readiness by identifying risks, managing mitigation plans, and ensuring materials are available for build events.
- Continue execution of active SRP programs, meeting sourcing metrics such as correct supplier alignment and dual-sourcing requirements.
- Engage closely with engineering, BU partners, and supplier focal points to validate part requirements and support testing of critical components.
- Lead supplier negotiations and build strong relationships to influence outcomes without direct authority.
- Track and report program status, sourcing milestones, supplier readiness, and risks to stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement in sourcing processes, supplier onboarding, and readiness management.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 4-7 years of experience in supply chain, sourcing, materials management, or related functions.
- Supply chain experience required.
- Experience managing suppliers, negotiating agreements, and driving sourcing outcomes.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and understand basic manufacturing processes; technical background helpful but not required.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead NPI sourcing activities from concept through ramp.
