Role Overview
We are seeking a Project Manager to lead Korea-based projects covering both IT and physical security scopes. This role is responsible for managing technology initiatives including IT infrastructure, AV systems, structured network cabling, MDF/IDF room setup and relocation, as well as the deployment of physical security solutions such as CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise together with proven leadership and communication skills to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
In the mid-term, this role is also expected to serve as the GIS(Global Information Services), GWI(Global Workplace Infrastructure) domain focal point, supporting and representing projects of other regions.
Key Responsibilities
• IT Project Management
- Lead IT Projects: Manage the full lifecycle of IT infrastructure projects, including AV systems, cabling, and MDF/IDF room setup and relocation.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and internal clients to understand requirements and ensure objectives are met.
- Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations using tools
- Team Leadership: Direct and guide project teams and trade partners, providing strategic direction and maintaining alignment with project goals.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee installation and acceptance testing of IT systems, ensuring compliance with design specifications and standards.
- Risk & Issue Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues proactively, escalating to leadership as needed.
- Reporting & Documentation: Produce comprehensive project reports and maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation.
- Change Management: Oversee and direct change management activities, ensuring all changes are properly evaluated, approved, and implemented.
• Physical Security Project Management
- Security System Implementation: Manage the deployment of physical security technologies, including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
- Onsite Coordination: Serve as the primary contact for security vendors and contractors, ensuring smooth integration with IT and construction activities.
- Risk & Compliance: Identify potential security risks, report promptly to leadership, and ensure adherence to safety and compliance protocols.
- Issue Resolution: Respond quickly to unexpected issues at the site, coordinating resources and solutions.
- Progress Monitoring: Participate in regular onsite meetings and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth progress according to schedule.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of security installations and provide clear updates to stakeholders.

• General Project Leadership
- Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to improve processes, efficiency, and overall project outcomes.
- Action Tracking: Monitor and follow up on assigned actions to ensure timely completion and accountability.
- Scope, Schedule, and Budget Control: Maintain strict control over project scope, timelines, and budget throughout the lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Minium 5-8 years of experience in IT infrastructure or large-scale technology projects.
- Experience with AV systems, cabling, MDF/IDF setups, and security systems.
- Strong project management skills (Waterfall, Agile/Scrum) and tools.
- Experience with IT Service Management (ITIL) and familiarity with cybersecurity and compliance (ISO 27001, SOC2).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills; ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Fluent in Korean & English required.
- PMP or CSM certification is a plus.
- Willingness to travel and work onsite as required.
