Job Description: SW Embedded Manager
We are looking for an excellent Software embedded Manager to lead a team developing Linux-based embedded software for ARM processors, FPGA platforms, and SoC devices. This role combines technical leadership with people management, ensuring delivery of high-quality solutions for advanced semiconductor inspection and metrology tools.

Our Group
- The Embedded Software Team is part of the R&D Hardware organization, responsible for designing and implementing software that powers complex digitizers, high-speed controllers, synchronizers, and frame grabbers for advanced semiconductor tools
- Team members work closely with hardware, FPGA, system, and algorithm developers to deliver robust, scalable solutions
What you'll be doing:
- Lead and mentor a core team engineers, providing guidance, coaching, and career development
- Define architecture and best practices for embedded Linux systems on ARM and FPGA-based platforms
- Oversee design and implementation of Linux user-space applications, device drivers, and integration with hardware accelerators
- Ensure seamless integration with hardware and system-level software, including FPGA prototyping and bring-up
- Collaborate cross-functionally with hardware, FPGA, algorithm, and system teams to deliver robust solutions
- Own project planning, resource allocation, and risk mitigation for embedded software projects
What you should have?
- 8+ years in embedded software development, including 3+ years in a leadership role
- Hands-on experience with ARM / SoC architectures and FPGA flows
- Strong proficiency in C/C++, Python, and object-oriented programming
- Significant experience with Linux user-space and kernel-level development
- Familiarity with modern communication protocols (Ethernet, USB, SPI, I²C)
- Ability to inspire and manage a high-performing team in a cross-matrix environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- B.Sc. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
