As an Electrical Engineer, you are responsible for designing, modifying, and troubleshooting electrical or electronic engineering assemblies, layouts, schematics, and drawings to advance the equipment that supports our technology. Using your technical experience and critical thinking skills, you will perform engineering analysis, generate test reports, develop innovative solutions, and create documentation for product releases. You will also coordinate the procurement and assembly of components, identify sources of critical parts, and resolve technical issues to ensure peak performance.
What You'll Do
As an Electrical Engineer, you'll serve as the key technical owner for customer common specification review and electrical safety compliance on semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
You'll partner closely with customers, Sales, Field Service Engineering, BU Engineering, and Design Safety teams to review specifications, resolve electrical and safety issues, and ensure our tools meet Korean and international standards.
Role Responsibilities
- Lead customer common specification reviews (Electrical & EHS) and drive compliance for new and updated tool programs
- Conduct customer meetings and specification review discussions, communicating issued items and counterplans
- Review electrical drawings and lead new AC Rack (MPD) design and configuration checks with BU Engineering and the AC Rack team
- Support SEMI S2 certification activities and coordinate SEMI Working Group, KOSHA, and PSM-related items
- Interpret electrical concepts and standards to solve equipment issues and coach Customer Engineering teams on electrical topics

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering
- 7+ years of experience with semiconductor manufacturing equipment as an Electrical Engineer
- Strong understanding of electrical drawings and electrical concepts for semiconductor equipment
- Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written English
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of SEMI S2 requirements with hands-on certification experience
- Familiarity with international standards including IEC, UL, and NFPA 79
- Experience designing AC Racks (MPD) or AC Boxes
- Experience in customer specification review, compliance, and customer-facing meetings
