Role Summary
As an Account Sales within the Semiconductor Products Group (SPG), this role is responsible for driving sales of Applied Materials' Deposition equipment and process solutions by acting as the primary interface between the customer and Applied Materials.
The Account Sales works cross‑functionally with Process, Hardware, and other Business Groups to deliver differentiated solutions that meet customer technology and manufacturing requirements

Key Responsibilities
- Acts as the account owner, representing Applied Materials to assigned customers and representing customer needs internally across Applied organizations.
- Develops a deep understanding of customer technology roadmaps, manufacturing challenges, and business priorities, and translates them into aligned sales and engagement strategies.
- Identifies customer needs and develops and executes complex sales strategies for Deposition equipment and process solutions.
- Engages with existing and new customers to present Applied Materials' Deposition products, hardware capabilities, and process solutions.
- Coordinates customer meetings, technology reviews, and tool/process demonstrations
- Communicates and presents Applied product roadmaps, Deposition technology capabilities, and value propositions to customers.
- Effectively communicates customer feedback, technology requirements, and competitive insights back to internal stakeholders, including Product Business Groups and engineering teams.
- Prepares pricing proposals and quotations; leads commercial negotiations to final pricing and terms, and submits required documentation to book orders.
- Supports follow‑up activities related to accounts receivable and commercial compliance as needed.
- Maintains accurate account coverage, documentation, and reporting, including customer visit summaries and opportunity tracking.
- Develops and executes customer‑specific account action plans, ensuring timely follow‑through and alignment with business objectives.
Preferred Qualification
- 5+ years of experience in semiconductor process, hardware, or technical sales
- Strong cross-functional communication and collaboration skills

- Demonstrates depth and/or breadth of expertise in own specialized discipline or field

- Interprets internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services
