Supply Chain Management
Preferred Discipline:
Business Administration & Analytics / Industrial Engineering / Supply Chain Management / Data Analytics/ Other engineering disciplines.
Traineeship Project Description
- Gain exposure to strategic supply management and develop an understanding of the role of Supply Managers in driving supply continuity, risk mitigation, and business performance.
- Analyze supply chain processes and data to identify opportunities for operational excellence, automation, and process optimization.
- Develop data-driven dashboards, analytics, and automation solutions using Power BI, Excel, Python, and related technologies to support strategic decision-making.
- Enhance supply planning, procurement effectiveness, through improved data visibility, reporting, and actionable insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to support supply strategies, supplier performance management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Desired Skills Required:
- Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and/or Python for data analytics, reporting, and automation.
- Basic understanding of supply chain management, procurement, and supply planning processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and digital transformation.
- Effective communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn in a dynamic business environment.
Learning Outcomes:
- Understand key supply management principles, including supply planning, procurement, supplier performance, and risk management.
- Apply data analytics and automation tools to support strategic supply chain decisions.
- Identify and implement initiatives that improve operational efficiency and business performance.
