Supply Chain Management

Preferred Discipline:

Business Administration & Analytics / Industrial Engineering / Supply Chain Management / Data Analytics/ Other engineering disciplines.

Traineeship Project Description

• Gain exposure to strategic supply management and develop an understanding of the role of Supply Managers in driving supply continuity, risk mitigation, and business performance.
• Analyze supply chain processes and data to identify opportunities for operational excellence, automation, and process optimization.
• Develop data-driven dashboards, analytics, and automation solutions using Power BI, Excel, Python, and related technologies to support strategic decision-making.
• Enhance supply planning, procurement effectiveness, through improved data visibility, reporting, and actionable insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to support supply strategies, supplier performance management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Desired Skills Required:

• Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and/or Python for data analytics, reporting, and automation.
• Basic understanding of supply chain management, procurement, and supply planning processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and digital transformation.
• Effective communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn in a dynamic business environment.

Learning Outcomes:

• Understand key supply management principles, including supply planning, procurement, supplier performance, and risk management.
• Apply data analytics and automation tools to support strategic supply chain decisions.
