We are looking for a motivated and proactive Summer Trainee Buyer to join our team during the summer holiday season. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in procurement, purchasing processes, inventory accuracy, and ERP‑based operations in a professional business environment.

As a Summer Trainee Buyer, you will work closely with experienced colleagues and take part in our daily purchasing activities. You will be entrusted with real responsibilities while receiving guidance and support to help you develop your skills and confidence.

What you will do

  • Convert purchase requisitions into purchase orders (POs)
  • Track order status and confirmation updates
  • Handle purchasing invoices
  • Support inventory accuracy and stock balance maintenance in the ERP system
  • Monitor and report purchase order status to the manager
  • Contribute to smooth and efficient procurement operations

Qualifications

  • Technical or commercial education (e.g. B.Sc. in Business Administration, vocational qualification, or equivalent)
  • Previous experience in a procurement environment is an advantage
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (preferably SAP)
  • Practical skills in inventory management and maintaining stock balances
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently according to instructions
  • Strong ability to complete agreed tasks
  • Fluent use of MS Office applications
  • Fluency in English is require, good Finnish skills are an advantage
