As a Buyer, you'll be responsible for purchasing the materials, supplies, machinery, and services that equip our state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities. You'll collaborate across teams and showcase your organization and strategic planning skills to monitor inventory, manage delivery scheduling, negotiate with suppliers, and procure essential items that transform possibilities into realities for our customers and teams.
Role Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Supplier's operational management (Forecast & POs, FGIs, ECOs, obsolete, MRP actions, transitions, Repairs, service agreements, OTD, etc)
- Coordinates/drives purchasing activities with planning and engineering departments to maintain inventory at planned levels.
- Leads supplier's quality activities in collaboration with manufacturing and engineering departments
- Expedites and ensures timely receipt of materials.
- Practice management without authority
- Leads problem resolution for material related accounting and receiving issues
- Provides input to management regarding suppliers and material status, action plans and address long term issues.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree or higher education in relevant field preferred Engineering - Mandatory
- Experience: 4-7 Years in Purchasing - Mandatory
- SAP MM expertise - Mandatory
- Knowledge of working with OFFICE systems (especially Excel)
- Ability to work and deal with many information systems.
- Service- oriented, experienced with suppliers and internal customers
- Independent, team player with high negotiation skills
- High level English (writing, speaking and reading)
- Excellent presentation skills
- Program management experience

- Excellent problem-solving ability
- Great interpersonal skills
