About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Python Software Developer with 2-3 years of hands‑on experience building backend systems, APIs, and scalable applications. The ideal candidate is passionate about clean code, problem‑solving, and working in a collaborative engineering environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Python-based software solutions and backend services
- Implement robust, scalable, and efficient code following best practices
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs or microservices
- Work with databases (SQL or NoSQL) including schema design and optimization
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Product, QA, DevOps, Frontend) to deliver end‑to‑end features
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing code
- Write unit tests and ensure high test coverage
- Document system architecture, processes, and code when needed
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of professional experience in Python development
- Strong understanding of core Python concepts (OOP, data structures, error handling)
- Experience with at least one major Python framework
- Solid experience with relational or non-relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of asynchronous programming (asyncio) is a plus
- Comfortable working in Linux/Unix environments
- Good debugging skills and familiarity with logging/monitoring tools
