AIX Trainer Delivering Instructor Led Training (ILT) for Intermediate and Advanced Courses for internal Applied Materials personnel. Requires knowledge and experience in Fault Defect Classification (FDC) discipline; E3/FSS/AIX or other FDC systems.

General Profile:
- This a AIX Training Instructor Position providing Instructor Led Training, Training Material Development and Updates.
- Requires knowledge and experience with TechEdge AIX applications for setting up and deploying UVA Models and Data Collection Plans for comprehensive service agreement sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering Instructor Led Training for Intermediate Training - Covering UVA Modeling once a month.
- Delivering Instructor Led Training for Advanced Training - Covering Data Collection Plans (DCP) that include Process Types, Equipment Templates, Equipment Instances, equipment drivers, sensors, events, faults, constants. The Advanced Class will be held once a month.
- Updating ILT Training materials as needed.
- Updating WBT (Web Based Training) courses offered through AGU.
- Must be able to work without direct supervision.
- Must be a self-starter.
- Managing Training Schedule, managing student signup requests, reporting student completion and grading.
- Be able to travel up to 50% of the time. 2 ILT/month means 2 weeks a month doing ILT.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering discipline preferred
Business Expertise
- Preferred Semicon Equipment experience hardware / process.
- Preferred AIX Experience, knowledge of AIX Analytics / AIX Dashboard, Process Types, Equipment Templates, Equipment Instances, Sensors.
- Must have a good understanding of our internal customers operational models and the Field Service Org Account Team service business
- Understands key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work
Functional Knowledge
- Utilizes many of the AIX reporting functions at the AIX latest release level
- Basic knowledge of advanced analytics, FDC and applications
- Expertise across at least one BU and understanding of customer HVP's
- Experience in high volume 300mm and or Display manufacturing preferred
- Demonstrates expanded conceptual knowledge in own discipline and broadens capabilities
- 2+ years of hardware experience on at least one tool type in Fab
- Process knowledge on at least one tool type is preferred
- Experience in Training / Mentoring others.
Problem Solving
- Utilizes TE advanced analytics to solve problems in straightforward situations
- Ability to work with other tool/process experts to fill any gaps in technical knowledge
- Analyzes possible solutions using technical experience and judgment
Impact
- Deploys and delivers straightforward AIX Training specifically targeted at Intermediate and Advanced user needs.
- Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team; works within guidelines and policies
Interpersonal Skills
- Explains moderately complex information to others in straightforward situations
