Description
The Worldwide Operations Finance team is looking for a Senior Logistics Financial Analyst to support the worldwide logistics financial forecast and close process. This critical position is the main focal point for deep analysis, coordination and consolidation of the WW forecast/actual results, and would work closely with regional finance and regional/worldwide operations teams. The ideal candidate would have financial planning & analysis experience in a global or regional role with a multinational company. Previous operations finance experience is strongly preferred. The position creates crucial reporting, analysis, business insight deliverables for senior executives/management. The candidate must be able to clearly articulate the key business drivers related to global freight and duty spend as well as drive down to meaningful details with deep, ad hoc modeling & analysis where necessary.
Responsibilities:
Drive & support the global freight & duty forecast process, provide direction and feedback to regional finance teams
Own end-to-end monthly financial forecast analysis and quarter end close duties
Contribute to transformation initiatives within Operations Finance, process reengineering & innovation of the areas of responsibilities, streamline deliverables and improve efficiency
Support WW Logistics/WW Supply Chain organizations in ad hoc analysis relating to cost drivers and new product costing related to freight
Collaborate across multiple functional teams all levels and departments (such as other Finance groups, IS&T, Facilities, Procurement, Logistics Operations, Planning etc.)

Hands-on financial experience performing budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analysis
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with flawless attention to detail and the ability to quickly learn and apply new concepts
Collaborative: able to build consensus and partner with cross-functional and cross-regional teams
Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills with the ability to clearly articulate results and facilitate alignment
Ability to partner cross-functionally at all levels of the organization
Proven experience developing and improving processes, with the desire to drive continuous improvement
Demonstrated ability to gather and analyze large amounts of data at a macro and micro level
Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously
Intrinsic desire to challenge the status quo, improve processes, and create value
Proficiency with Excel and Keynote or similar require
CPA/CMA/MBA is a plus
Expert spreadsheet (Excel) skills
Previous logistics and supply chain knowledge
Previous experience within a multinational company
Experience with database design and script writing
Experience with Dataiku, Tableau and/or other data visualization systems
Experience with integrated accounting systems (SAP)
Audit experience
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years professional work experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or similar
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $140,700 and $211,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
