The WW Service Demand Product Planner plays a critical role in ensuring operational and financial success for the organization. You will be a member of the Service Supply Chain Operations team, challenged to scale at the pace of the company's overall growth and complexity.
Description
The Service Demand Product Planner will develop, communicate, and refine service demand plans that cover current week to 10 years of service across over 100 countries for a current or future product line. Product line assignments will be made at the time of hire in any of Apple's multi-billion dollar businesses, including iPhone, iPad, Mac, Watch and Accessories.","responsibilities":"Forecast worldwide service product demand considering product quality, customer behavior and product sell through. Generate weekly short-term and long-term demand plans that meet Apple's customer satisfaction goals and financial objectives. Evaluate risks. Plan and implement contingency plans to mitigate.
Analyze service material consumption on a weekly basis to identify significant trends and adjust to meet an ever-evolving demand landscape. Find opportunities and drive partner groups to appropriate action.
Coordinate closely with regional supply planning teams to ensure plans meet customer needs. Coordinate with AppleCare Business Development and Service Readiness Operations to set service launch quantities of new product introductions and to ensure smooth product transitions.
Coordinate with Service Readiness and Product Quality Teams to incorporate engineering information in service demand projections and initiate actions based on emerging trends or anomalies.
Blend data science-based statistical projections and collaboration-driven cross-functional business insights while projecting demand for sustaining and NPI programs for the short term (1 year) and long term (up to 10 years) horizon.
Partner with the global service procurement teams to plan for Whole units and repair parts, ensure continuity of supply, and minimize material excess or obsolescence during product transitions and supply constraints.
Present product demand updates and recommended actions to Operations and Finance executive management team on a regular basis.
Identify improvement opportunities in the product planning process, marshal resources, and drive projects to completion.

Ability to think strategically and execute tactically, a persistent attention to detail, and a high level of comfort in working with numbers.
You should be comfortable presenting to executive management.
MBA, master's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience, is desired.
Prior experience in product planning, forecasting, production control, inventory management, or production/manufacturing operations is a plus.

Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of relevant experience.
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, analytics, business, engineering or related field.
Prior experience in fields that demand complex quantitative analysis such as supply chain, data analytics, finance or consulting.

This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $113,600 and $214,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
