Description
As a member of the system software architecture team working on VisionOS platforms at Apple, you will be responsible for driving the power architecture across the stack and be expected to lead collaborations across organizations to achieve the best tradeoff between power and performance.","responsibilities":"Define, design and develop power-optimized platforms for Apple's AR/VR technology
Work cross-functionally with multiple teams at Apple, drive requirements and deliver end-to-end solutions
Develop power saving techniques in simulation/emulation environments and translate them into production software
Identify system-level solutions across HW and SW to meet the product's power constraints
Debug hard to reproduce issues and propose solutions with minimum impact to user experience
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of low power SOC architectures and HW/SW co-design for power optimization
Experience in tuning algorithms and software across the stack to meet sustained and peak power constraints
Comfortable working with cross-functional HW teams on reviewing schematics and SOC specifications
Experience abstracting and building behavioral models of HW/SW interactions
Knowledge about control systems and optimization techniques
Ability to work under tight schedules and deliver on time
Minimum Qualifications
BS in Computer Science/Computer Engineering and/or equivalent experience/skills
At least 4 years of relevant experience
Strong knowledge of operating systems fundamentals and embedded systems
In-depth knowledge of C/C++
Familiarity with embedded power management
Strong analytical and debugging skills
Experienced in driving design decisions using a data driven approach
