Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Systems Engineer to contribute to the development of our Thermal Management system. The candidate will be responsible for developing and architecting thermal management systems ensuring efficient utilization of silicon capabilities and the software stack, to achieve the best possible user experience.","responsibilities":"Developing, testing and evolving the thermal control system architecture deployed in almost every Apple product.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to specify, architect, and develop telemetry.
Performing hands-on analysis and troubleshooting in collaboration with a wide range of cross-functional teams including software developers, system, and component teams.
Finding significant insights and recommending improvements to thermal control algorithms and architecture by analyzing measured data.
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years relevant industry experience.
Knowledge of control systems and theory.
Experience with the trade-offs between thermals, power and performance.
Innovative and critical thinker with proven analytical skills and innate curiosity.
Mathematical expertise in statistical methods and data processing and visualization.
Desire to bring data-driven decision-making and analytics to improve our products.
General understanding of hardware and software architecture of mobile systems.
Understanding of version control principles and familiarity with Git.
Minimum Qualifications
BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
