The Apple News Operations team is seeking a Technical Operations Engineer to build and maintain the full-stack applications and data tools that internal teams depend on. You will also provide technical guidance to publishers, helping them navigate platform capabilities and troubleshoot integration issues. Develop internal data tools that surface insights and enable data-driven decision-making
Streamline processes and drive automation solutions with cross-functional stakeholders
Apply AI-assisted tools to accelerate development, debugging, and documentation
Triage and resolve publisher-reported technical issues
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity and deep interest in applying AI to enhance tooling and productivity
Strong debugging and triage skills, with a security-conscious approach to code and data
Experience working directly with external partners in a technical capacity
Comfortable presenting technical work and recommendations to varied audiences
Familiarity with the media, publishing, or digital content ecosystem
Minimum Qualifications
2-4 years of experience in a software engineering or technical operations role
Understanding of core programming principles, with experience in programming languages such as Python, and shell scripting.
Experience with SQL and NoSQL database design, management, and optimization
Experience with React and related frontend technologies
Ability to analyze data and build solutions that drive actionable insights","internalDetails":null
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $118,500 and $244,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
