Technical Content Designer
Apple's Content Design team is seeking a Technical Content Designer who possesses a
passion for creating high-level content, with a refined design sense, deep knowledge of
typography, an exceptional eye for detail, and an in-depth understanding of our users' needs
for the best creative productivity applications.
Description
- You will work as a key member of the Content Design team and will collaborate at different
levels cross-functionally with our Marketing, Engineering, Editorial, and HI teams.
- The Technical Content Designer works with a small team to produce content for our software
applications, including templates, documents, presentations, spreadsheets, and editorial
design deliverables.

and collaborate closely with multiple teams.
Develop feature creative briefs for leadership and agencies.
Work with content strategy DRIs to ensure features align with the intent and our users.
Collaborate with our team and creative agencies to develop shipping feature content.
Design within shipping or internal app builds.
Load, review, fix, and approve app features on internal app and/or OS builds.
Work within and help provide guidance for internal development tools.
Provide feature guidance, specs, to UI design.
Collaborate closely with ENG and Production to create high-level, functional templates that
promote new features and content.
Interface with QA, ENG, and Production to ensure shipping content is functional and
performant.
File and fix content-related radars.
Build decks and present to business partners both cross-functionally and internally.
Work with cross-functional partners in HI design, Product Marketing, Engineering,
Copywriting, and other teams to develop features, content, and design solutions
Preferred Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
BA/BFA/BS or equivalent four-year degree or higher with a focus on graphic design or
similar.
Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience (not an entry-level position).
Excellent design sense and the ability to iterate design concepts quickly and skillfully.
Extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, and iWork software.
Ability to research and develop comprehensive design concepts that are both unique and
imaginative, while being current and relevant.
Ability to create and share strong narrative presentations to show designs to internal teams.
Able to produce original assets for final content design projects.
Proficiency in illustration and visualization, along with a sophisticated knowledge of
typography, design history, and trends.
A portfolio of work that showcases your wide and varied talent.
Enjoys working hard with tight deadlines to create world-class content.
Experience in content design for software, editorial design, and traditional graphic design
skills as they apply to digital content creation.
Deep experience working as part of a larger team in a collaborative, cross-functional
environment

Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $172,100 and $258,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
