1 week ago Cupertino, CA

Do you want to help define the future of SwiftUI app development?

Join the SwiftUI Mac team and work on the future of SwiftUI and app development across all of Apple's platforms. You'll collaborate with passionate and creative colleagues to meet ambitious goals in an environment that not only encourages, but requires constant curiosity and growth. The work we do empowers developers and shapes their experience for decades to come.

Description

As a member of the SwiftUI Mac team, will join us in developing future SwiftUI features and APIs that impact all of Apple's platforms. You will be responsible for bringing your ideas to life through all stages of their development: from initial research, to API design and proposals, to testing and development in Swift, to documentation and offering guidance to adopters. You'll join us in energetic discussions on each other's work and ideas, alongside members of other teams possessing a variety of different perspectives and domain expertises.

Our team is a core contributor to the SwiftUI framework, building features to express the power and flexibility of macOS and working closely with UI framework teams across iOS, iPadOS, watchOS, tvOS, and visionOS. You'll also have the opportunity to collaborate with other cross-functional teams across Apple: including developer tools, interface designers, technical writers, and clients of SwiftUI. Curious and collaborative individuals who take an expansive view of their role will thrive in this multi-disciplinary environment.

Our goal is to dramatically improve the app ecosystem across all of Apple's platforms - whether enabling beginners to bring an idea to life, iOS app developers to write their first macOS app, or empowering seasoned pros to focus on what's important. Because we have the privilege of collaborating closely with Swift, Xcode, HI, and framework teams up and down the software stack, we believe SwiftUI can be-by far-the best app development experience in the world. If you're interested in helping define this future and pushing the state of the art forward, we'd love to hear from you!","responsibilities":"Design and implement new framework APIs and features
