The ESCI Supplier Readiness and Development (SRD) Business Engagement Program Manager (BE PM) is responsible for the overall strategy, execution, and measurement of our suppliers' performance relative to ESCI goals and Apple's Supplier Code of Conduct (CoC). The BE PM's responsibilities also include supplier performance management, commodity review leadership, risk mitigation, partner training, and data integrity management, all while applying creative solutions to drive higher engagement from internal and external stakeholders. The BE PM work will with the Supplier Readiness and Development Business Engagement Manager as part of the team responsible for contributing to Apple's Environmental and Supply Chain.
Description
Program & Project Management:
- Collect, maintain, analyze and present data relevant to ESCI performance of Apple suppliers
- Analyze and present SRD risk assessments for suppliers from product development through ramp (i.e., Supplier Plan of Record reviews)
- Drive actions to improve supplier's performance relative to ESCI goals
- Partner with ESCI Supplier Development Regional Managers to escalate and resolve any non-compliance issues from CoC or other SRD Audits
- Manage multiple simultaneous projects with minimal supervision
- Manage external resources or consultants as required
Business Partnership:
- Partner with internal procurement (GSSM) and product operations (Ops) teams to provide information as needed, and identify gaps and opportunities to improve supplier performance to Apple's Supplier Code of Conduct (CoC)
- Facilitate and influence cross-functional team discussions to establish and enforce SRD requirements in design, manufacturing, supplier selection, and site expansion decisions
- Develop and maintain relationships with cross-functional teams, SRD internal functions and the third-party vendors to support SRD initiatives
- Communicate Supplier Readiness & Development programs and progress internally, as well as build strategic external relationships
- Educate Apple personnel in ESCI programs, practices, and standards
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years prior full-time relevant work experience in supply chain management, procurement/operations management, factory management, new production/program introduction, and/or social responsibility, environment, health & safety
The ability and desire to work independently in a fast-paced team environment and to function equally well as leader, team member, or facilitator
Strength in working with databases and presentation applications
Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of cross functional partners and leadership, and an appreciation of diverse cultures and backgrounds
Solid project management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously under minimal supervision
Strong analytical capabilities coupled with good business acumen
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to interact effectively with individuals and groups at all levels of the organization
Builds rapport with stakeholders both inside and outside the organization
Experience with cross functional project management in a manufacturing environment
Minimum Qualifications
BA/BS degree in a relevant field
Minimum 7 years of experience in supply chain management, procurement/operations management, new production/program introduction, and/or social responsibility
Demonstrated success in project management
Skilled at multi-tasking, setting priorities and meeting deadlines

Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $137,900 and $207,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
