This Studies Engineering Program Manager (SEPM) role interacts with a multitude of disciplines, including engineering, clinical, data analysis, regulatory, legal, procurement, and other project management teams. A successful SEPM thrives on collaboration and consensus building in an ever shifting environment, working with teams to clarify goals and develop the study strategy to support them. This person loves to analyze a multitude of options, develop risk mitigation plans, and manage the program-level budgets and forecasts.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in clinical research helpful but not required
Experience in R&D or consumer product development a plus - familiarity with the changing dynamics of research and development will help you thrive in this role
Minimum Qualifications
B.S. degree in biomedical engineering or any engineering field or equivalent
5+ years of proven project management experience
Solid understanding of human research studies lifecycle with the ability to quickly adapt to changing direction
Strong organizational and management skills with a track record of on-time project delivery
Self-motivated and proactive with critical thinking and resourcefulness to drive projects to success
Excellent cross-functional and executive level communication skills
Able to prioritize issues and track the details as well as be in touch with the big picture
Flexible and comfortable with ambiguity - able to rapidly optimize across many variables to problem solve and effectively guide decisions
Experience in budgeting and financial forecasting at a program level
Experience in executive level communications
Ability to be onsite; this role is a hybrid, in-person position
Some travel may be required, up to approximately 10%
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $144,600 and $218,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
