Staff Software Engineer / Technical Educator

Yesterday Seattle, WA

At Apple, our teams push the boundaries of what's possible - and the people who teach those teams shape what comes next. We are a group of engineers, educators, and storytellers who believe that great learning experiences are as carefully crafted as great products. Our culture thrives on curiosity, rigor, and a deep respect for the humans on both sides of every lesson.

We are looking for a Staff Technical Educator who brings rare depth across three disciplines: Swift server-side engineering, training, and technical communication. You will be the authoritative voice on Swift for server development - designing and teaching the courses, writing the documentation, and building the hands-on labs that help Apple engineers go deep on the full Swift server stack. If you are energized by the challenge of making that complexity genuinely accessible - whether in a live session, an executive briefing, or a meticulously crafted developer guide - this role was designed for you.

Description

In this role, Swift development with a server-side focus is at the heart of everything you teach and write. You will own the full arc of technical education for Apple's Swift server curriculum - identifying what engineers need to learn, designing the courses, and delivering them with excellence. You will also embrace GenAi/Agentic tooling to aid in authoring technical documentation and hands-on labs that extend learning beyond the classroom.

","responsibilities":"Design and deliver Swift server-side training programs and curricula that serve diverse engineering audiences at Apple, covering the full Swift server stack
